April 3-2-1 evenings

Come in and take a look at Christianity from the inside. See how it fits together. See how this story helps make sense of your story.

3-2-1 is a chance for anyone interested to find out more about the Christian faith or to brush up on the basics. There will be three evenings over the next few weeks. We start with a meal at 7.30pm and watch a talk by Glen Scrivener on video at 8pm with time for discussion afterwards. For more details, check out the video below. We will be all finished by 9pm.

No knowledge of the Christian faith or Bible is needed. People won’t be asked to read or contribute; you can join in or simply listen. The course is totally FREE.

3-2-1 will be on the following evenings, in the church vestry:

Monday 11th April 2016 – God, and his three-ness

Monday 18th April 2016 – The world, and its two-ness

Monday 25th April 2016 – You, and your one-ness

Electoral Roll form

If you are a regular at Holy Redeemer, are over 16 and are baptised, and believe in the God of the Bible – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – please do apply to be added to the Church of England’s official list of who is a member of Holy Redeemer (and therefore entitled to vote at our annual meeting).  You can download the form here.  Please complete it, print it off and sign and date it, and then return it to the church office.

Please fill this out soon if you want to vote at our next annual meeting on Sunday 10th April.

There will be no 9am on Easter Sunday.  Services will resume as normal the following week.

Autumn Home Group Series

This Autumn’s mid-week bible studies will be looking at the Gospel of John.  This will also be the focus of the Sunday sermons so it would be great if you could come along to as much as possible and gain an in depth understanding of Jesus through the writing of a man who walked with him.

Summer Sermon Series

During the summer Bill Winthrop is going to be preaching a series on 1 Thessalonians, called “The Gospel in Action”, while Ian and his Family are away.
Bill is a minister from Sydney who has taken early retirement.  Bill and his wife Fran are Brits who went to Australia to work.  Bill was an accountant with United Biscuits when became a Christian in his mid forties.  He went into full time Christian work, because Jesus had made such a big difference in his life.
