We all want to be happy…

But why is lasting happiness so hard to find?
How can our deepest desires be truly satisfied?

We are having some evenings to take a look at these questions and more.

Featuring a combination of short films shot around the world, Bible reading and discussion.

Life Explored is suitable for anyone, no prior Bible knowledge is necessary.

The sessions will start with a party on Monday 22nd January at 7:30pm with refreshments provided. If you are interested in the course, it would help us if you filled out the form below, though this is not necessary.


    Sunday 31st – no 9am service

    Please note that there will be no 9am service Sunday 31st December. We would love to see you at the 10:45am service, though!

    Four 1 hour sessions will take a look at these questions and more.

    Featuring a combination of short films shot around the world, Bible reading and discussion.

    Life Explored is suitable for anyone, no prior Bible knowledge is necessary.

    The sessions will start on Sunday 15th January at 4:30pm with tea/cake served from 4pm, and on Monday 16th January at 8pm (Light supper from 7:30pm). If you are interested in the course, please fill out the form below.

      Merry Christmas from the Holy Redeemer Church!

      We hope you will be able to join us at one of our Christmas Events. Whether you are coming to Church for the first time, or returning after a little while away, Christmas is a great time to come along. We are a friendly church and look forward to meeting you over Christmas. At each event there will be an explanation from the Bible of the events of Jesus’ birth and we hope you will enjoy hearing why we believe Christmas is such good news.

      Christmas Wreath Making
      A women’s Christmas event with an arts/crafts theme.

      Sunday 18th December 6:30pm
      Carols by Candlelight
      Atmospheric Carol service with traditional Bible readings, carols and a talk explaining the meaning of Christmas from the Bible. Mince pies provided.

      Saturday 24th December 4pm
      Children’s Carol service
      Interactive carol service especially suitable for little ones, refreshments provided.

      Sunday 25th December 10am
      Christmas Day service
      Short family celebration with carols, Bible talk and mince pies.

We’re back in the Gospel of Luke, following Jesus on the road to Jerusalem, as well as the Old Testament book of Numbers, journeying to the promised land.  In the run up to Christmas, we’re looking at the New Testament letter of 2 Thessalonians.
