I enjoy tennis, reading and listening to music to relax. Apart from God and His Word,
Denise, Anna, James and Ben are the greatest joys in my life.

I joined Holy Redeemer in 2023 after completing 3 years at Oak Hill Theological College. I’m married to Rhiannon with 3 children who are quickly growing up! I taught Maths for 12 years, but gave it up because I’d rather people knew Jesus than Pythagoras. You might see me out for a run (if it’s good weather), but more likely you’ll find me cycling through Streatham or drinking coffee. I love picking up random new skills, so feel free to ask me if I’ve picked up anything new recently.

I’ve lived in Streatham for almost 25 years with my husband and teenage and adult children. Growing up in a family where I was taken to church from birth, this didn’t make me a Christian anymore than going into McDonalds makes anyone a hamburger. Engaging with Jesus as both Saviour and Lord and wrestling with the authority of the Bible were the key things that brought me to faith in Jesus. My favourite day would be visiting the gallery at Llanbedrog in Wales, followed by cake and time on the beach with friends.

I joined Holy Redeemer in 2024, shortly after becoming a Christian in May that year. I’m currently studying at Cornhill and serving as a ministry apprentice, where I’m learning more about God’s Word and ministry in practice. Outside of church, I enjoy playing chess, cooking new recipes, and watching a good film. Life is never dull with my ten-year-old daughter, and I’m grateful to be growing in faith and community here.

I joined the team at Holy Redeemer in April 2026. I didn’t grow up as a Christian, but over the previous year I had been exploring and learning more about Jesus until I professed my faith in him. I still enjoy learning more about him every day.
I have lived in South West London for the past eight years, having originally come from the North. My professional background is in philanthropy and fundraising, and I also had the privilege of serving in the Armed Forces.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending my spare time doing many things — mainly spending time with my son, who is nearly in his twenties, my rescue dog Chuck, reading God’s Word, crocheting, and spending time with the rest of my family.
